Berber basket L – IZRAN

Izran means songs in Berber – and just like a song, this basket tells its own story in colors and patterns.

The basket is handmade by women in Morocco's Atlas Mountains and woven from natural grass, which is wrapped with wool threads in a harmonious interplay of red, blue, green, yellow, black and white. Each color represents the nature around them – sun, earth, sky and life.

With its approx. 40 cm in height and 26 cm in diameter, Izran is both practical and decorative. Use it as storage for small items, for dried flowers or simply as a unique handmade work of art that brings warmth and personality into your home.

Izran carries the essence of Moroccan craftsmanship – rhythmic, lively and full of history, just like the traditional Berber songs it is named after.
