Mortar in walnut wood

Beautiful hand-carved mortar in walnut wood for your spices. Fill your fresh herbs or spices in here and mash them well with the mortar and feel the aroma wafting through your kitchen. Is good for whole spices such as mustard seeds, juniper berries, cumin, cardamom capsules, whole peppercorns and coriander. By using whole spices and grinding them when you need them, you get a much stronger flavor from your spices. You can also stir your own pesto in this mortar.

Remains untreated. Can be given a little cooking oil if you want a warmer and darker glow. Can be washed by hand.
