The story behind

Small stools are a simple and effective way to add an exotic and personal touch to your interior. They bring life, warmth and variety and act as small works of art in the home. All my stools are handmade and no two are exactly alike. I select materials and colors with great care and offer wooden stools with braided cords in carefully selected, exquisite shades, which together create an elegant bohemian expression. We offer a variety of different types of stools, each with its own charm.

The leather-woven stools add warmth, weight and an exclusive touch, which only becomes more beautiful over time, as the material patinas and takes on its own unique expression. The natural leather creates a nice contrast to the light surface of the wood and gives the stool a timeless and elegant appearance.

If you want a lighter and more graphic look, the cord-braided stools are perfect. The strong cords are hand-braided in beautiful patterns and selected colors, which add life, personality and a touch of bohemian. The combination of colors, patterns and materials allows you to choose a stool that either blends in calmly with the interior or functions as a striking statement piece.

The round stools are made of wood, and a special and charming detail about these stools is the use of a recycled tire in the construction of the seat. It is both a fun and creative solution, which gives the furniture an unexpected history and a modern twist. What previously had a completely different purpose is given new life and a new function in the home – transformed from industrial waste into an aesthetic and functional piece of furniture. This transformation adds character to the stool and makes it a conversation piece that arouses curiosity and excitement.

At the same time, the use of tires is a strong sustainable choice. Tires are usually difficult to recycle and often end up as waste that pollutes the environment. By recycling them in furniture production, the life of the material is significantly extended and the need for new raw materials is reduced. The combination of recycling, craftsmanship and aesthetics shows how sustainability and design can go hand in hand without compromising on quality or expression.

Using a tire as a base for the wickerwork also provides a robust and durable core, making the stool suitable for everyday use. This supports Tibladin's idea of creating furniture that is not only beautiful, but also responsible – furniture with soul, history and consideration for both people and the environment.

The rattan-woven stools exude lightness, naturalness and genuine craftsmanship. Rattan is a flexible and strong natural material that is woven by hand, creating beautiful, harmonious patterns with small variations that make each stool unique. The woven seat gives a light and airy look and adds warmth and tranquility to the interior.

Rattan is also a sustainable choice, as it is a fast-growing material that can be harvested gently. Together with the natural structure of the wood, it creates a timeless and durable stool that functions both as a practical seat and as a decorative element in the home.

The stools are handmade by women in a women's cooperative south of Marrakech. The cooperative employs around 160 women and plays an important role in improving the living conditions of many families in the small village. When you choose this stool, you not only get a beautiful and functional piece of furniture - you also support traditional craftsmanship, sustainable production and women's opportunity for economic independence.
