Maintenance
Before first use: soak in water overnight. When completely dry, rub the inside of the dish with cooking oil (not olive oil)
Can be washed with mild soapy water.
The tagine dishes are handmade, and there may be variations in both color and shape.
The story behind
The Moroccan tagine/Tajine is a stoneware dish with a characteristic cone-shaped lid in which you can prepare the most delicious dishes. A tagine can be used for many lovely Moroccan dishes and many simmering dishes. You can see different recipes for Tagine on my blog.
