Sculptural and raw in expression – Tamegroute Trio are hand-shaped three-armed candlesticks in unglazed clay. Each candlestick is unique with its soft organic shapes and warm earth tones, inspired by the colors of the desert and the traditional ceramics from Tamegroute in southern Morocco.

They function both as applied art and as decorative sculptures – beautiful individually or in a group on a table, console or shelf.

The story behind

Tamegroute pottery is a traditional way of making pottery that originates from Moroccan people in the Zagora region. The way in which it is made, and the unique green color, is what characterizes the ceramics best. Because of the way it is made, the ceramic has a very tactile surface. At the same time as it is handmade, there can also be various small variations in sizes, colors and the coating, and imperfections in the ceramics. It is part of the charm that it is unique, and it gives the ceramics more character.
