Jamila means beautiful in Arabic – a name that fits perfectly with this elegant and colorful Berber basket, where warm, burnt shades meet deep purple and soft creamy white in a beautiful and harmonious play of colors.

The basket is handmade by women in Morocco's Atlas Mountains and woven from natural grass, which is carefully wrapped with wool threads in burnt orange, violet purple and cream white. The detailed geometric patterns form beautiful diamond shapes and graphic lines, where the warm orange shades create a beautiful contrast with the deep purple. The patterns are inspired by traditional Berber symbols, often associated with protection, strength and harmony.

With a height of approximately 20–25 cm and a diameter of 18–22 cm, Jamila is ideal for storing small items such as jewelry, keys or other small treasures. The round, full shape and characteristic pointed lid also make it a decorative design object that adds warmth, color and a touch of Moroccan craftsmanship to the interior.
