Samir is an Arabic name associated with pleasant conversations and good stories – a beautiful name for this colorful Berber basket, where delicate pastel colors meet fresh, vibrant contrasts.

The basket is handmade by women in Morocco's Atlas Mountains and woven from natural grass, which is carefully wrapped with wool threads in delicate powder pink, light ice blue and bright red. The delicate geometric patterns form large diamond shapes, where the red details beautifully highlight the soft pastel colors. The patterns are inspired by traditional Berber symbols, often associated with protection, strength and harmony.

With a height of approximately 20–25 cm and a diameter of 18–22 cm, Samir is ideal for storing small items such as jewelry, keys or other small treasures. The round, full shape and characteristic pointed lid also make it a decorative design object that adds lightness, color and a touch of Moroccan craftsmanship to the interior.

The story behind

I love curves! They can give any room warmth and coziness.

The baskets are handmade and from a family business in Marrakech that specializes in wicker and has been doing it for generations.
