Berber basket M – SAFA

Safa means purity and clarity in Arabic – a beautiful name that fits perfectly with this elegant Berber basket, where simple colors and traditional patterns are united in a calm and timeless expression.

The basket is handmade by women in Morocco's Atlas Mountains and woven from natural grass, which is carefully wrapped with wool threads in deep burgundy and soft cream white. The large, geometric diamond shapes create a beautiful and harmonious pattern, where the light shades stand out clearly against the dark background. The patterns are inspired by traditional Berber symbols, often associated with protection, strength and harmony.

With a height of approximately 20–25 cm and a diameter of 18–22 cm, Safa is ideal for storing small items such as jewelry, keys or other small treasures. The round, full shape and the tall, pointed lid also make it a decorative design object that adds warmth, elegance and a touch of Moroccan craftsmanship to the interior.
