Tiziri means moonlight in Tamazight, one of the Berber languages – a beautiful and poetic name that fits perfectly with this elegant Berber basket, where deep black meets fine golden details and a dark purple base.
The basket is handmade by women in Morocco's Atlas Mountains and woven from natural grass, which is carefully wrapped with woolen threads in intense black with small, shiny golden details. The discreet geometric patterns form fine, vertical lines and small graphic markings that stand out beautifully against the dark background. The patterns are inspired by traditional Berber symbols and give the basket a simple but exclusive expression.
The special thing about Tiziri is the beautiful deep aubergine purple bottom, which creates an exciting and unexpected contrast to the basket's black exterior. The purple bottom adds a subtle touch of color and emphasizes the personal and handmade expression.
With a height of approximately 20–25 cm and a diameter of 18–22 cm, Tiziri is ideal for storing small items such as jewelry, keys or other small treasures. The round, full shape and characteristic pointed lid also make it a decorative design object that adds elegance, warmth and a touch of Moroccan craftsmanship to the interior.
