Warda means rose in Arabic – a beautiful and poetic name that fits perfectly with this elegant Berber basket, where deep chocolate brown meets emerald green and soft creamy white in a harmonious and natural play of colors.
The basket is handmade by women in Morocco's Atlas Mountains and woven from natural grass, which is carefully wrapped with wool threads in warm dark brown, deep emerald green and creamy white. The detailed geometric patterns form beautiful, symmetrical diamond shapes, where the green and creamy white shades stand out clearly against the dark brown background. The characteristic pointed lid has a solid brown top, while the edge is decorated with fine graphic patterns that create a beautiful connection with the rest of the basket's design. The patterns are inspired by traditional Berber symbols, often associated with protection, strength and harmony.
With a height of approximately 23-25 cm and a diameter of 18-22 cm, Warda is ideal for storing small items such as jewelry, keys or other small treasures. The slim, rounded shape and decorative pointed lid also make it a beautiful design object that adds warm, natural colors and a touch of Moroccan craftsmanship to the interior.
