Wipe off with a damp cloth. The lamps can oxidize a little over time, which just adds extra charm. If you want your lamp polished, you can use a polishing agent or a little lemon juice, as the Moroccans do.
The story behind
The lamps are made of silver-colored metal with small hole patterns beaten out by hand. The holes in the lamp reflect the light in a magical glow onto the wall, and give the room a very special atmosphere.
