The story behind
When you see a well-laid table where the host has taken the trouble to place cloth napkins instead of paper napkins, you as a guest feel valued and welcome. A cloth napkin can be reused for many years and is much better for the environment. The cloth napkin is made of quality cotton with a beautiful hand-embroidered simple pattern and edge in the same colour. They are easy to add to your table setting and give a beautiful expression of quality. Many hours of handwork are behind these napkins by women from a women's cooperative south of Marrakech.
The women's cooperative employs 160 women in the small village, and thus helps to raise the standard of living of many families. A school and kindergarten have been established for the women's children, so that the children can receive education and be employed while the mothers work.
