The story behind
Beldi glass from Marrakesh. All made from recycled glass that is heated, mouth blown and shaped and finally progressively treated in a cooling oven. The glass goes through a complex craft process and shaped into elegant designs.
Despite the finesse of the glasses, they are extremely resistant and can be used in all everyday situations. They go in the dishwasher and can even handle moderate temperatures in the oven. The reflections come from the recycled glass. Each jug is different and there will also be small air bubbles and irregularities which give this series lots of charm.
