The story behind

Magical Marrakech – the red city at the foot of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains – has for centuries attracted artists, bohemians, adventurers and those who enjoy life. No other city is like it. At once enigmatic and exotic, seductive and colourful, and like an old friend – friendly, hospitable and open-hearted.

Surrounded by 1,000 years of dramatic history, the city offers more experiences than one can dream of - countless historical and cultural sights, a rich and refined food culture, the most beautiful decorations and furnishings and all the life that unfolds on the streets and alleys and beyond all in the unique square of Jamaa el-Fna.

The book takes you on a trip through Marrakech to 15 exciting sights and to 25 wonderful places to eat in the neighborhoods around them. In addition, there are delicious and authentic recipes from the city that can bring the smell and taste of Morocco home to your kitchen.
