The story behind
Raffia and rattan lamps/wick lamps have made a big comeback in interior design. They give a nice bohemian look and a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
Lamps from Morocco add a unique touch to your decor and provide a decorative light.
The lamps are handmade and there will be small imperfections and differences in pattern and shape.
What is rattan?
Rattan is made from a tropical palm that is native to Australia, Asia and Africa. The material is very strong and resembles bamboo, which is why it is used for everything from trays and baskets to headboards and drinks tables.
Raffia is similar to rattan as they both come from palm leaves, but raffia is a bit softer.
Maintenance
The rattan part itself is wiped with a dust cloth.
You can use a lint roller on the velor part. Run the lint roller gently and carefully over the fabric. Be sure to change the tissue paper before, and do so often during rolling.
The lamps are handmade, and there are small imperfections and variance in shape and pattern.
